Layer Grown Model Technology Services is an Independent Contracting Service Provider to the Rapid Prototyping Industry. Serving the World but primarily the North America's Jewelry and other manufacturing companies in need of Rapid Prototyping Product Repairs, Hardware Training, Troubleshooting, Cleaning, Adjustments, Spare parts, Consumables or building completed models from customer design STL files. Service is also available for the installation of “customer purchased” OEM parts or just to ask questions.
 
Service is available for the following:

1. Servicing any out-of-warranty RP equipment. This includes Inkjet and Photopolymer model-making equipment. My general “Servicing” experience is adaptable to most of this style equipment.
2. Cleaning and Adjustments to most RP equipment as described in the users or operators manuals for normal operation. (Customers are responsible to supply these documents or manuals.).
3. Installing and replacing ‘customer’ consumable parts as described in the Users or operators manuals.
4. Repairing, Adjusting, Testing and Installing assemblies for any RP equipment as described by documents from OEM Parts purchased by the owners of this equipment. (Customers must order all documents with their own OEM parts)
5. Troubleshooting most RP equipment. (This will include electronic, mechanical, thermal or any problems)
6. Repair RP equipment to working condition.
7. Locating and Sales of “Used” MM6, MM2, PMT66, T612, RTM, 20/20 machines and spare parts. Please contact Layer Grown Model with any old parts or machines you have to be tested, adjusted repaired or to be sold.
8. Training customers on Software, Basic Operation, Maintenance and Repair Procedures.
9. Service Bureau “Model making” of STL files as supplied to Layer Grown Model. (done offsite)
10. Accepting 24 hour Customer calls.
11. On-Site Service always available.
12. Parts, tools and Consumables for sale at discounted prices.

Rates:   All Service labor hours: $125 per hour on site or a 1/2 day minimum for service over 3 hours on site.

Travel expenses as incurred per trip: $20/hour travel time, Airfare or Mileage, Parking, Tolls, Hotel and Meals. All Service charges are due on the day of servicing. Call anytime. I offer expert guidance at a fair price. Calls are your best value! (Travel time is expensive)

Email and Phone calls:   $25 per call or $250 retainer to work off a calls "Service Plan" of 10 calls.

Note: * James K McMahon L.L.C. is an independent contractor and is not certified or licensed by any company or corporation for service repairs. All work is done on the equipment at the owner's request and risk. James K McMahon L.L.C. shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect business losses or damages i.e., lost time or profits as a result of these services. It is the equipment owner's responsibility to supply parts and supplies from the OEM for all repairs. Every effort will be made during the servicing of equipment to repair and return the equipment to a 'working condition' with the parts supplied, the time allowed for the repair and age of the equipment. All service work is done with No warranty implied or written except as supplied by the OEM for the purchased parts. 6 Pro ModelMaker servicing is not guaranteed. 6 Pro OEM parts are not manufactured any more.   All work is done at customers risk. These 6 Pro machines may not be serviceable or repairable due to a lack of parts.
